Commercial Outdoor Signage
After completing our obligations to the building contractor for the specified commercial outdoor signage, directional signage and entry signage at Aveley Primary School, the Principal contacted us direct requesting additional signage. We were happy to oblige with the permission of our original client and were able to complete the works once again for a very satisfied client. So happy in fact, he referred us direct to another start up school in the area, Pearsall Primary. Having finished this on time for a media launch and grand opening, both our clients were extremely happy. With both jobs we encouraged the client to move away from the conventional black and white sign with an arrow, and incorporate the school branding and colour to brighten up what should be a playful and happy place for children and staff.
Materials:
Obviously with budget in mind at schools we used the simplest of products for the majority of the signage just using Aluminium Composite Panels but introduced a contemporary design to give them a bit of an edge. With a little extra to spend on the entry signage again used cheaper materials that gave the best result. Router cutting PVC in the schools logo and then painting gave a 3 dimensional look to the signage in the area that was seen most by outsiders and visitors to the schools
Challenges Overcome:
Time used to take forever to tick over when we were at school, but not on either of these projects! Both schools were new builds with a desire to be recognised in the community quickly, and of course enjoy a successful grand opening with a strong identity. Time was of the essence through the final stages of construction and a quick installation was paramount.
